What does your transmission do?

When you are driving down the road you hear a bad knocking sound in your car. You have to choose 1 of 3 options. You could ignore it and keep driving. This is not ideal because the next day when you go to start your car, you find that it will not start. You could drive it to a shop, this is better but could lead to further damage. The last option is to pull over and call a tow truck. This can get your car to your desired auto shop without causing further damage to your car.

How does it fail?

There are many different methods we use when trying to diagnose an problem with your car. This ranges from scanning the computer for codes and errors, visual inspections of both the inside and outside of your car or truck looking for leaking fluids or damage. We will even sample your fluids looking for contamination or metal bits that could show signs of accelerated wear or damage.
